The Race Event

Jackie Bristow grew up in San Dimas. She attended Holy Name of Mary School and St. Lucy's High School. While at St. Lucy's, Jackie ran cross- country and graduated at the top of her class in 2006. She attended UC Riverside on a full ride academic scholarship. Tragically, Jackie passed away on January 1, 2008 due to an eating disorder. She was only 19 years old.

As we memorialize her, the purpose of this event is twofold: to raise awareness of eating disorders and body image issues, as well as to give participants an opportunity to celebrate their individual beauty regardless of shape or size.

Race Is a Success

Another great year, with another great race! Thank you to all who participated in the Run/Walk. A special thank you to all of the people who volunteered. We had over 125 volunteers. Everyone had a great time.

Almost 600 people registered this year, and over 475 crossed the finish line!
